Behind the Blog
My name is Isabella Roquette, and I am a curious high school student, passionate dancer, and avid reader. Learning is one of my greatest passions, and through this blog, I will be immersing myself in knowledge of new subjects to spark curiosity in me and my readers, while also documenting my journey with science.
I have always loved STEM and have now found a way to learn about it outside of school and clubs. Ever since my first visit to NASA, I've been intrigued by space and all the possibilities that await beyond Earth. This is what drives me and motivates me to continue learning every day. Now, I will be able to share my drive through this blog.
My Orbit of Experience
August 2022 - May 2025
June 2025
July 2025
Since the 2022 - 2023 school year, I have formed a dedicated commitment to both the Science Bowl team and the Math Competition team. This experience has taught me that independent learning goes a long way and how much I enjoy problem-solving.
I spent two weeks in an Aerospace Program at Johns Hopkins University. This experience taught me, through hands-on experiences and visits to the field, the possibilities within the field and the diverse engineering skills I can learn ahead of college.
I was selected to be part of the Summit STEM Fellowship, an international program with over 4,200 applicants from 95+ countries. This experience introduced me to inspiring mentors, taught me life skills, and inspired me to develop my own projects. I can't wait to apply everything I've learned from this program!
