Hello Universe!

My name is Isabella Roquette, and I am a rising sophomore eager to learn as much as possible about space. My first blog post will discuss how I began my space journey.

Curiosity in my DNA

ree

Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved asking questions. Something inside me always wonders and asks for “the why” behind everything. Math and science have always been my favorite subjects, though I love all subjects; they stand out because of the ability they can give me to change the world through discovery. This is how I knew I wanted to pursue them in the future. Learning about planets and moon phases was always my favorite part of my science class, and when I first visited the Kennedy Space Center at the age of 11, I fell in love.

Fell in love with what? With everything, specifically with the unanswered questions. In science, every field has unanswered questions and problems that need solving, but the questions and problems concerning space lead to something greater than our Earth; they lead to a realm of possibilities we haven’t even thought of. The idea of there being more out there, more planets, more solar systems, maybe even more life forms, is a mind-blowing concept I want to learn about and develop as much as possible.

Kennedy Space Center

My visit to the Kennedy Space Center introduced me to the range of possibilities the universe holds and aided me in discovering what problems I hope to solve in the world.

My curiosity and passion for space, which originated from this visit, and science are what inspired me to create It's Roquette Science. I hope you follow along on my journey!
